Pulmonary ventilation apparatus with automatic control which can operate at high frequency, with a continuous or modulated jet, giving very short inhalation under pressure and then slightly negative in volume. For exhalation, a short underpressure, then an exhaled volume tending to 0. The control of the ventilation systems is automatic and may be actuated remotely without stopping the apparatus. The screen is shaped so that it allows physiological respiration. The control of the device is made automatic by the fact that it includes: a control box 10 comprising a yoke 17, a dish 17 bis; a fin 23 bis fixed simultaneously to the said dish 17 and to the lid 10 by pins 13 and 13 bis. A buffer plate 18 limits the travel of the flap 23 bis, a screen drilled with two holes having the effect of creating, in modulation, an intake of air into the lungs, which is in fact negative since the pressure falls almost instantaneously. <IMAGE>
