PURPOSE:To obtain an efficient copying device which eliminates the need for test copying, etc., by detecting the size of an original on an original platen and specifying a photosensitive material roll of specific width size and associating an enlarging means or reducing means and a magnification calculating means for projecting an image of the original to width and length adapted to the specified photosensitive material roll with a conveying means and a measurement cutting means. CONSTITUTION:Characteristic conveyance paths 11A-11C for respective photosensitive materials are formed of guide chutes, respective guide roller couples 6A-6C are arranged halfway at constant intervals and join with a common conveyance path 12 at a roller couple 7, and a cutter mechanism 13 is provided as the measurement cutting means halfway on the common conveyance path 12. An image of the original 25 on the original platen 26 is formed at an exposure position 28 through an optical system 20 composed of an irradiation lamp, mirrors, a lens, etc. When the original image needs to be printed to not only its full size, but also larger or smaller size, the lens 21 and mirrors 22 and 23 are moved as shown by arrows to vary the magnification. The cutting and conveyance of a cut sheet to an exposure part by the measurement conveyance and cutter mechanism 13 is repeated by as many times as the specific set number of sheets and the copying operation is completed.
