PURPOSE:To utilize the sludge and to enhance the combustion efficiency by integrally providing a screw rotor at the upper part of a vertical shaft and inserting the rotor into a feed oil pipe provided with an injection nozzle at the lower part. CONSTITUTION:With respect to the centrifugal separator equipped with a homogenizer, the screw rotor 13, which is inserted into the feed oil pipe 8 and rotated, is integrally provided at the upper end part of the vertical shaft 8, and the injection nozzle 14 and a seal ring 15 are additionally furnished at the lower part of the feed oil pipe 8 to provide the homogenizing function. A pressure is generated in the space between the screw rotor 13 and the inner surface of the feed oil pipe 8 by the rotation of the rotor 13 and supplied to the feed oil pipe 8. The pressurized processing soln. is injected from the injection nozzle 14 and struck against a rotating guide cylinder 3, and the sludge in the processing soln. is homogenized. Consequently, the sludge can be utilized as fuel, the water contained in the fuel oil is emulsified, and the combustion efficiency can be enhanced.
