PURPOSE:To erase only an unnecessary image except in an original image are to be transferred to transfer part properly even if an original shifts slightly in mount position by providing a control means which controls an erasing light source according to the mount position of the original detected by an original position detecting means. CONSTITUTION:Information on the mount position of the original 2 on an original platen 3 is also sent to a CPU 28 to control the erasing light source 8 according to the original mount position. The CPU 28 judges the actual position of an original image as a state 35 in consideration of the mount position of the original 2 detected by an original position detecting means 40 as well as the position of an original image 35' which ought to be originally, and controls the turn-on state of the erasing light source 8 so that the part other tan the area of the original image 35 is erased by widths W7 and W8 at every time. Consequently, even if the original 2 is set shifting in position, only the unnecessary image except in the area of the original image 35 to be transferred to transfer paper 18 is erased properly and even part of the original image 35 is never erased. |
