PURPOSE:To surely judge finish of a dehydration process by introducing a filtrate into a filtrate detection box which is overflowable and outflowable by means of an automatic on-off valve and closing the automatic on-off valve wherein liquid level is descended till a low level and judging dehydration finish by the length of the closed time. CONSTITUTION:In the beginning period of dehydration, filtrate flowing into a filtrate detection box 10 through a filtrate inlet pipe 1 is much and overflowed over a weir 11 and discharged through a filtrate outlet pipe 14. An H contact point of a liquid level detector 18 is closed while the overflow and an automatic on-off valve 17 is opened via a valve switching treatment part 19 and one part of filtrate is discharge through a filtrate outlet pipe 14 via a bypass pipe 15 for filtrate detection. When a liquid level of the filtrate detection box 10 is descended and an L contact point of the detector 18 is opened, the on-off valve 17 is closed via the treatment part 19. Simultaneously a gate signal is output to a closed time counting circuit 20 and time counting is started and finish of dehydration is judged by time wherein the liquid level is reached to an H level from an L level.
