A (pref. semi-rigid) plastic tube with smooth outside for holding pressurised material has a connection to an adapter with cylindrical bore; the connecting system has an external grip with spring-loaded radial jaws, and an axially moving release ring which engages inside the jaws along a tapered surface. The ring is attached to a handling bush which engages the adapter and cannot be lost.
