The invention relates to an adjustable fixing device for assembling, for example, a video screen to a casing. The device comprises an expandable unit 16 which is made to work by screwing, inside this unit, a screw 2 passing through a hole 5 in a first element 3, this hole being aligned with a blind seat 8 located on the other element 4 and housing the expandable unit so that it can slide radially, but cannot rotate. A female portion 23 of the unit includes locking means 35, 40 designed to penetrate into the lateral walls 11 of the blind seat 8.
