PURPOSE:To copy plural original in a short time and to open and close an optical system lightly and speedily by positioning a heavy motor which opens and closes (swings) the optical system on an original platen and drives an exposure scanning means on the opposite side from the original setting side of the swing fulcrum of the optical system. CONSTITUTION:The original platen 14 which has an opening at its upper end and is shaped in a box on the whole is provided fixedly on the top surface of a copying machine body 12 and plural coil springs 16... are provided in the original platen 14 so that their elastic force operates upward. A tablet 28 which specifies a position with a light pen 26 is provided on an original presser 22. The 1st movable mirror 4 2 is fixed to a reflecting mirror 40.
