PURPOSE:To patch a program simply by providing a RAM for mapping that designates an area to be patched and a RAM for patching in which a program after correction is written. CONSTITUTION:When bugs are found in a program made to ROM after products are circulated in the market, the area to be patched is written in a RAM for mapping (nonvolatile) 6. Then, the program after correction is written in a RAM for patching (nonvolatile) 11. Thereby, the part of the program area ROM2 having bugs is replaced by the RAM11 for patching, and patching of the program can be made simply.
