PURPOSE:To obtain a stable high-density transfer image by the use of minute heat energy, by constituting the titled transfer medium of a transfer sheet provided with a transfer layer based on a colored dye and a leuco dye through a fine particulate filler-containing layer and a receiving layer provided with a receiving layer based on a developer and a heat-meltable substance showing solubility to the colored dye. CONSTITUTION:The titled transfer medium consists of a transfer sheet wherein a transfer layer based on a leuco dye and a colored dye is provided on a plastic film support through a fine particulate filter-containing layer and a receiving sheet wherein a receiving layer based on the developer to the leuco dye and a heat-meltable substance showing solubility to the colored dye is provided on a support. The fine particulate filler layer is provided to impart an uneven shape to the surface of the plastic film support to enhance the holding capacity of the leuco dye and the colored dye and the transfer layer is provided through said fine particulate layer to make it possible to uniformly form the surface of the transfer layer. As a result, a uniform high density transfer image is obtained. |
