NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R<1> is H, halogen, nitro or lower alkoxy; R<2> is H, substitutive hydrocarbon residue or acyl; R<3> is H or OH; Z is substitutive amino; m is an integer 0-4 when R<3> is H and an integer 1-4 when R<3> is OH; n is an integer 1-3). EXAMPLE:2-Hydroxy-1-[2-(2-oxo-4-pyrrolidinylmethyl)phenoxy]-3-(4--diph enylme thyl-piperazin-1-yl)propane. USE:A preventing and treating agent for senile dementia, Alzheimer's disease, cerebrovascular dementia, etc., having strong specific binding ability to serotonin receptors and muscarinic acetylcholine receptors. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by formula II is reacted with a compound expressed by the formula Z-H in the presence of a base in a solvent, e.g. methanol, etc., at room temperature - while heating (at 40-120 deg.C) to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I. |
