PURPOSE:To make unnecessary condition setting work for setting a system operable at the prescribed performance by giving set-up conditions as fixed data to a control means executing an exposure control action. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is entered, a light source 16 is controlled and managed, and then photometry is executed. If the light measured value is normal, the exposure arithmetic processing is executed. Based on an exposure amount obtained by said processing and that obtained from the position of an ND filter 60, the target positions of component color filters 42A-42C are decided. Standard data required for the color correction processing in said exposure arithmetic processing and the density correction processing, that is, color balance, is given as fixed data. In order to obtain exposing source light corresponding to the photosensitive characteristic of a negative film 50, a curbed slobe characteristic is given as fixed data.
