PURPOSE:To form a disc player with a simple constitution and a low cost, a disc in which is hard to be damaged, by providing a pair of holders which support the disc at a disc cover. CONSTITUTION:An inner case 13 is equipped with a pair of chevron shape holders 23 and 23 which are energized so that each inner face is faced with the other at each chevron-shaped part by guide pieces 20 and 20 to guide a disc 2 slidably and springs 22 and 22 hooked at supporting shafts 21 and 21, and also are formed rotatably and freely, and circular arcuate projections 24 and 24 which support the disc 2. The chevron-shaped holders 23 and 23 have step parts 27 and 27 between the first planes 25 and 25, and the second planes 26 and 26 which constitute a chevron shape. And by abutting projections 8 and 8 provided at a front panel 7 with the step parts 27 and 27 when a disc cover 9 is closed, the pair of chevron-shaped holders 23 and 23 turn centering the supporting shafts 21 and 21, and extend outward.
