PURPOSE:To provide a ventilating device for a cattle shed capable of coping with the breeding condition in accordance with the change in an atmospheric temperature by a method wherein a stopper section, capable of adjusting the starting point of opening of a lower opening freely by moving a stopper rod to accommodate a necessary amount of ventilation in accordance with the growing state of cattles, is provided. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the state of period of maturity in an intermediate season, a stopper bar 24 is set in holes C, C'. When a baffle 5 is opened to increase the amount of ventilation, an upper opening section 26 is opened about a rotary shaft 17 until the stopper bar 24 is abutted against the lower end of a connecting fitting 16. When a wire 14 is sluckened to increase the amount of ventilation further, the position of supporting point moves from the rotary shaft 17 to another rotary shaft 20, the supporting fitting 19 of the baffle 5 is separated from the abutting plate 18 of the connecting fitting 16 and the upper opening section 26 is opened simultaneously with the opening of a lower opening 27. On the other hand, in the case of the stage of rearing in the intermediate season, another stopper bar 24' is moved to the holes A, A'. When the amount of ventilation is increased, the baffle 5 opens the upper opening section 26 about the rotary shaft 17 until the stopper bar 24' is abutted against the lower end of the connecting fitting 16. When the amount of ventilation is increased further, the lower opening section 27 is opened simultaneously with the opening of the upper opening section 26.
