摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To decrease the electric power to be used in a melt refining station by disposing plural having stations in parallel and extending the heating time for the raw materials in plural arc furnaces in the stage of circulating the raw materials through the four stations; raw material charging, preheating, heating and melt refining stations of the arc furnaces and producing a molten steel from scrap. CONSTITUTION:Carriages 3 on which the plural arc furnaces 2 are installed are moved in an arrow direction on an annular moving path L formed of rails 1. The raw material scrap is charged into the furnace 2 in the 1st station S1 on the annular moving path L and the high-temp. waste gas formed by burning the CO-contg. gas generated from the melt refining stage of the 4th station S4 in a combustion column 11 is introduced through a duct 12 into the furnace to preheat the scrap in the 2nd station S2. The 3rd stations S3 are disposed in plurality in parallel and after the scrap is heated for a long period by kerosene burners, etc., the scrap is melted by a transformer 10 and an electrode 9 in the 4th station S4. The molten steel refined in such a manner is tapped from the furnace. Since the number of the 3rd stations S3 is large, the heating time by the kerosene is extended and the temp. of the scrap is increased. The electric power consumption in the 4th station S4 is thus reduced.</p>
