<p>PURPOSE:To accurately detect whether a sheet discharge part is practically full of sheets, irrespective of the thickness of a sheet, by a method wherein a fixing color additionally functions as a sheet discharge roller, and a sheet discharge detecting switch additionally functions as a full-of-sheet detecting switch. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet discharge part is already full of sheets, even if a sheet 9, passing fixing rollers 1 and 2 and depressing an actuator 61, passes the fixing rollers 1 and 2, it is left in a state to depress the actuator 61 without dropping down to the sheet discharge part. Thus, a switch part 60 is left turned ON, and a timer is timed up. When the timer is timed up, a duplicator body decides that the sheet discharge part is in a full-of-sheet state, displays the fact on a display apparatus, and stops motion to stop teh feed of the sheet. The duplicator is released from a motion stop state without effecting reset motion when a sheet discharge detecting switch 6 is turned OFF, i.e., when the sheets, of which the discharge part is full, are removed by an operator.</p> |
