PURPOSE:To obtain an electroconductive polymer composition having sufficient electric conductivity which can be easily produced, by mixing a specified liquid polymer with an amine compound, a solution of iodine or bromine in a polyol compound and a polyisocyanate compound and curing the mixture. CONSTITUTION:The titled composition prepared by mixing a hydroxyl group- containing liquid diene polymer (e.g., hydroxyl group-terminated liquid polybutadiene) with an amine compound (preferably, N,N'-p-phenylenediamine or phenylnaphthylamine having aryl, alkyl, naphthyl or their derivatives in positions N and N', a solution of iodine or bromine in a polyol compound (e.g., a solution of iodine or bromine in 1,4-butanediol) and a polyisocyanate compound (e.g., diphenylmethane diisocyanate) and curing the mixture. This composition can be produced by a simple process, shows sufficient electric conductivity and is useful as medical rubber, high-voltage cables, tires, belts, spinning rolls and acoustic instrument and device parts.
