[Also in Division F2] An eccentric-drive shaft 88 of a press brake 92, 94, 96 is driven by a motor 16 through a belt 14, a flywheel 12 and a two-speed, direct/ reducing, gear 10 controlled by clutches 40, 42 alternately operable hydraulically or by a lever extending outside the gear casing. The twospeed gear drives the press brake through gears 62, 64, a rotatable countershaft 66 and gears 82, 86. The press brake may also be driven by a further gear on the end of the countershaft 66 remote from the gear 82. A brake drum 60 is keyed on the driven shaft 36 of the two-speed gear.
