PURPOSE:To prevent the fall of bottom bricks during repairing and disassembling of the lining bricks in a composite blowing type converter by providing specific bottom holding bricks to the connection surface between the side wall part and bottom part of the above-mentioned lining bricks and connecting the bricks in the side wall part and bottom part by utilizing such bricks. CONSTITUTION:The lining bricks 6 for a straight body part are further built to the inside of the permanent lining bricks 5' on the inside of a shell 1 in the stage of repairing and building the lining bricks of the composite blowing converter having an oxygen top blowing lance and bottom tuyeres. The furnace bottom part is built with the lining bricks 8, 9 for the bottom part to the permanent lining bricks 5' on the inside of the shell 1 and is disposed with the bottom holding bricks 3 to prevent the dislogment of the outside peripheral bricks 7 in the furnace bottom in contact with a side face 3A. The bricks 7 contact both of the lining with a side face 3A. The bricks 7 contact both of the lining bricks 9 and the permanent lining bricks 5 under the same and hold both the lining bricks 9 and the permanent lining bricks 5, by arching against the side face 3A of the bricks 3, thus preventing the dislodgment, fall and failure of the bricks 7 during the repair of the converter when the converter is tiled. |
