PURPOSE:To perform surely separated feeding of copying sheets by furnishing an adjusting means, which changes the pushing force of a friction member using the change amount in a pressure means. CONSTITUTION:When a quantity of copying sheets 3 are loaded in an accommodation case 1, the gravity may elongate a spring 5 and increase the pressure P1 applied to a feeder roller 2, and this requires to increase the pushing force P2 of a friction member 6 correspondingly. When the spring 5 is actually elongated, a pushing means 4 rotates counterclockwise round a fulcrum 4a to cause decrease in the tensile force of another spring 9. This increases the moment of rotation applied by the tensile force of a spring 7 in the direction clockwise round the fulcrum 8a of an adjusting means 8, that increases, in turn, the pushing force to the abovementioned feed roller 2 of friction member 6. If the residual amount of sheets 3 in the case 1 lessenes to decrease the pushing force P1, on the contrary, the pushing force P2 will also decrease.
