PURPOSE:To provide a gas nozzle capable of keeping an air-tight feature even if no sealant is used and having no threaded part therein by a method wherein a fitting part is constituted by O-ring engaging flange and a flared conical part having a plurality of collets. CONSTITUTION:O-ring 7 is fitted from a lower end of a gas nozzle 6 over a maximum diameter part 8a of a conical part 8 and then the gas nozzle 6 is pushed into an opening 14 of a gas plug 13. A conical part 8 having collets 11 therein is resiliently deformed and when it reaches in to an opening 14 of the gas plug 13, it is returned to an opening 14 of the gas plug 13, it is returned back to its original shape with its resilient force, closely fitted to the conical part 16 of the opening 14. O-ring 7 is compression deformed between a shoulder surface of a flange 9 and a bottom surface of a stepped part 17 with an axial partial force generated by both conical parts 8 and 16 and then it is fixed while the air-tight condition is being kept. In this way, since a simple operation of pushing fit is performed, an operating time is short and an air-tight characteristic can be attained even if a coating of sealant is not made. The O-ring 7 is held by a maximum diameter part 8a of the conical part 8, no dropping off of it during the fixing operation is encountered, resulting in that a quite superior workability can be attained.
