PURPOSE:To eliminate a dangerous condition of explosion of coal dust and to provide fine powder coal having a specified temperature by a method wherein discharged gas of boiler is sued, a discharged gas temperature in a dispersion pipe is detected by a temperature sensor, a flow rate adjusting valve is operated to keep the temperature at its specified value. CONSTITUTION:A discharging gas pipe provided with a flow rate adjusting valve 6 is arranged between a boiler 2 and a dry coal crusher 10, discharging gas generated in the boiler 2 is supplied to the dry crusher 10, coal fed into the dry coal crusher 10 is crushed while being dried to produce fine powder coals and then the coals are transported together with the discharging gas as gas flow. The fine powder coals and the discharging gas are separated with a bag filter 14, the discharging gas is dispensed with by a dispersion pipe 24, a measured temperature of a temperature sensor 26 is compared with a predetermined reference temperature value and then a degree of opening of the flow rate adjusting valve 6 is adjusted in such a way that a temperature of the discharging gas in the dispersion pipe 24 becomes the reference temperature value. With this arrangement, is is possible to keep a temperature of the fin powder coals generated constant. Since a temperature of the discharging gas can be adjusted, it is safe.
