<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as a remedy for hepatic diseased advantageously without using expensive silver oxide, etc., by using a 3-protected hydroxy-4-hydroxybenzaldehyde and methoxy-methyl chloride as starting raw materials and subjecting them to several processes. CONSTITUTION:A compound shown by formula I is reacted with a compound shown by formula II as starting raw materials. Then, the reaction product is deprotected and reacted with a 3-(3-methoxy-4-protected hydroxyphenyl)-3- oxo-2-bromopropionic acid ethyl ester. Then, the reaction product is acetalized, reduced and then treated with sulfuric acid to give a compound shown by formula III. The compound shown by the formula II is deprotected, successively reacted with methoxymethyl chloride and the reaction product is reacted with 2,4,6-trimethoxymethylfluoroacetophenone. Then, the reaction product is oxidized and treated with a mineral acid to give a compound shown by formula IV (R1 and R2 are protecting group).</p> |
