<p>PURPOSE:To decode the outputs of a wand scanner and a laser scanner with the same decoder by scaling the data rate of a scanner and compensating the change of the scanning speed of the wand scanner. CONSTITUTION:The digital data outputted from a scanner 32 which is a wand scanner or a laser scanner are connected to a timer 34 to measure the time interval and generate the flow the integer data. The laser data, which are the time interval data in the laser scanner output are directly sent to a data memory 40, on the other hand, the wand data, which are the time interval data obtained from the output of the wand scanner, are sent to a small-scaled circulating system que in a buffer memory 36, and by removing successively the data of the real time interval, the que is continuously made empty. The scaling and the compensating processing necessary to convert the data to the data having the characteristic of the laser data are executed, the result is stored into a data memory 40 and the data are decoded by a decoding part 52.</p> |
