PURPOSE:To permit the floating-up of a dock gate by itself by arranging a vane wheel midway in the conduit for pouring and discharging water from a plurality of tank chambers and arranging a water pouring and discharging pump midway into the water pouring and discharging pipe which traverses the tank chamber. CONSTITUTION:When a dock gate is sinking-installed, water is poured into the tank chambers A-E from branched pipes 18-22 by opening the opening/closing valves (a) and 18'-22' and closing an opening/closing valve (b). In other cases, water is poured from a bell-mouth 35 by properly opening and closing the opening/closing valves and driving a pump 24. When the water in a dock is discharged, water is inhaled from a conduit 13 by the drive of the pump 24 and introducing the water into the conduits 25, 30, and 12 and opening the opening/closing valves (a) and (b) and revolving a vane wheel 17 and discharging water from the conduits 9-11 and 14-16. When water is introduced into the dock, reverse operation is carried out. When the dock gate is floated up, the water in the tanks A-E is discharged into the water region and the dock by the drive of the pump 24, and the water region of the dock gate can be transferred by the side thrustor action by revolving the vane wheel 17 of the conduits 9-16.
