PURPOSE:To improve steering performance and obtain the stable traveling performance and prevent the bad influence due to the mutual connection by mounting a power plant onto a dolly arranged between the connected vehicles hauled by a tractor and mounting an electric power source separated each other on the tractor side and the dolly side. CONSTITUTION:A connected vehicle consisting of a plurality of trailers 2, 4, and 6 and a plurality of dollys 3 and 5 is traveled not only by the tractive force by a tractor 1 equipped with an engine 11 but the power of an engine 31 installed onto the first dolly 3. Though, in this case, the engine 11, controller 15, and a relay 37 are operated by a tractor 1 side battery 13, the circuit common to the battery 33 on the first dolly 3 side is removed, and also the circuit on the grounding side is constituted of another wiring. Further, though the relay 37 is operated by a key switch 12 on the tractor 1 side, and the meter assy 16 of the first dolly 3 is put into electric conduction, voltage is applied onto an alarm 16a and a battery 16b when the engine 31 is not in operation.
