PURPOSE:To obtain a clear manufacturing number which does not disappear and not become blurred in handling by marking on the battery case simultaneously with sealing of battery with recessed stamp in order to mark a manufacturing number of the battery. CONSTITUTION:A positive mix 2, a positive ring 3, a separator 4, an electrolyte absorbing material 5, a negative mix 6, a sealing gasket 7, and a sealing plate 8, which are components for battery, are accommodated in a case 1, and placed on a lower sealing mold 9. Then, they are sealed by applying pressure to an upper sealing mold 10 to complete a battery. Since a recessed stamp 11 is graved on the lower sealing stamp 9 or the upper sealing stamp 10, a manufacturing number 12 is marked on the upper or lower surface of the battery in the sealing process. |
