PURPOSE:To prevent the frequency generation of read request suppression and to prevent the generation of undesired read request suppression by providing a common storage control section controlling a common main storage device and a TAG 2 section applying suppression control of read request. CONSTITUTION:When a read command of data is given from a CPU 1 to a control section MCU 3', the read request information is sent to a TAG section 33' via a common storage control section 31'. Then the control section 31' sets a read access end alarm signal at one cycle before the read from amain storage device MSU 4, that is, at one cycle before the read data is transferred. Only when an invalidation request whose flag is 1 exists in the TAG 2 section 33', the change in the processing cycle number is replied by suppressing a read request of an IPU 11 thereby avoiding the read request from being suppressed frequently. Further, the address of the read request from the CPU 1 and the address in the TAG 2 section 33' are compared and when they are coincident, the flag is not set to 1, then the generation of unnecessary suppression of the read request of the IPU 11 is prevented.
