Compounds of the formula I <IMAGE> which are alpha - or beta -halogenated or -hydroxylated in the 13-position by R, and where R<1> is hydrogen, a silyl group or an acyl group and R<2> is methyl, ethyl, isopropyl or sec.-butyl, can be obtained by processes which start with suitably substituted DELTA 13,14-15-hydroxy-milbemycin derivatives of the formula II or their derivatives, and can be used for controlling endo- and ectoparasites, in particular against nematodes which parasitise animals. |
