In a conveying pipe, in particular for pneumatic stowing in underground working, which has a pushed-on flange ring at each of its ends, which flange rings are preferably welded to an outer pipe and of which one has a radial groove for accommodating an annular seal, in which arrangement adjacent flange rings in a pipeline can be restrained axially with a clamping ring, provision is made according to the invention for the clamping surface of the clamping ring to run in an arc shape in axial section and to correspond to an arcuate rear surface of a flange ring, the end face of which has an annular recess, on the curved axial surface of which a correspondingly curved rear surface of the other flange ring is displaced up to the stop on a flat radial surface of the recess, and for an annular gap to be provided between the end faces of the axially aligned pipes, which annular gap is filled by the annular seal recessed with concentric grooves.
