In the case of a shaped tile system for forming floor troughs, step-like elevations, bracket-type ledges or wall claddings of an extremely wide range of dimensions and design, adaptation to a very wide range of functional requirements is to be possible, as is the dimensional coordination of various individual shaped pieces to others and to sheet-like tile ranges.
