According to the invention, a device for climate-conditioning by water evaporation comprises a closed climatic chamber with a curved lateral essentially vertically running waterwall, a collecting basin being provided under the water wall. Situated on the top side is a wave-shaped air mixer, a waterwall-free fan also being provided. Waterwall and collecting basin are in a closed water-pipe system with pump and possibly cooler. The waterwall is preferably formed by a natural stone wall which contains at least one horizontal row of large-pored lava stones. The water is a 3.5% salt solution. By means of the climatic chamber, a raw "North Sea climate" in particular can be simulated.
