Roller lift truck with hydraulically vertically adjustable rollers for loading and unloading lorries/containers. By means of several approximately 6 m long, hydraulically vertically adjustable fork arms spread apart by about 20 cm and arranged parallel to one another, it is possible to load or unload entire lorry or container loads in one go. The object is achieved according to the invention in that the hydraulically vertically adjustable roller lift truck, by means of a relatively very thin pallet (plywood pallet) on which the entire lorry/container load rests, travels over a lath grid laid out in the transport vehicle/container in order to lower the load there by means of the vertically adjustable hydraulics. After that the roller lift truck is free again and can be pulled out. The advantages attainable with this invention lie in particular in the fact that complete lorry/container loads can be loaded and unloaded, the laid-up times of the transport vehicles being reduced to a minimum. The loading operation for the large pallet can take place at any time independently of the transport vehicle. ISO container loads can be secured from all sides without trouble.
