A device for the web-edge registration and web-travel control of continuously fed webs is designed according to the invention such that at least one pneumatically operating edge sensor can be adjusted transversely to the travel direction of the web, via a switching part which is connected to a signal-pressure line of the edge sensor, by means of a control unit and a sensor-adjustment apparatus. The switching part (30) has a transducer (31), which is in each case connected to each signal-pressure line and which converts the pressure of the compressed air into electrical voltage, and two threshold-value switches (38-41) which are connected to the transducer (31) via an interrupter (34) and are provided with a setpoint input, and whose output line is coupled to one switch (44-47) in each case, which is connected to the associated sensor-adjustment apparatus. <IMAGE>
