<p>Transparent mouldings of glass ceramics with low heat expansion are produced by melting of glass to a basic glass and annealing of the objects produced from it in accordance with NL 6808826 employing a glass containing after synthesis the components LiO2, MgO, ZnO, Al2O3, P2O5 and SiO2 in such stoichiometric ratios that the theoretically max. possible (SiO2+AlPO4) content of quartz mixed crystals that can be crystallised is 70-75.5 wt%; calcd. from the general formula Li2-2(vtw) MgvZnw.O.Al2O3. x Al PO4. (y-zx) SiO2, and the given glass composition after synthesis. Thermal expn. coefft. in the range -30 to +70 degrees C is O plus-or-minus 1.5x10-> phi degrees C.</p> |
