Process for coating a pipe

A process for coating a pipe is proposed, a multilayer coating comprising epoxy resin, intermediate adhesive and polyethylene being used, in which process, first of all, a multilayer film is produced from the three coating materials and this film is then wound jointly onto a pipe heated shortly beforehand using a pressing roller. This process ensures efficient energy use and good adhesion of the various substrates to one another.
