PURPOSE:To restore an original picture and to outputs so as to be a state understood by a human being by separating overlapping pictures of variable densities of an inputted fluoroscopic picture every area of the same density and taking a logical sum in a relation of the density. CONSTITUTION:A fluoroscopic picture input means 11 is fluoroscopically transmitted by an X ray and a digitized variable density picture is recorded in a picture memory. A picture binarization means 12 separates an area of a certain density from an area except therefor and forms binarization pictures of the types of the density in the picture. A picture contraction means 13 has the picture contracted by a logical filter arithmetic part. Thereby, when the plural areas are connected, they are separated. An area 14 examines whether the picture is separated into the plural areas or not and branches a route of a processing. A picture area separating means 15 divides the respective areas when there are plural areas in one picture. A picture expansion means 16 returns the contracted picture to the original picture and picture OR means 18 restores the original areas A, B.
