PURPOSE:To attain an appropriate broadcasting having no noise, etc., entering an listener's ears by providing a deciding means deciding the quality of a broadcasting radio wave base on a signal obtained by a reception means and controlling transmission from a transmission means according to the result decided by the deciding means. CONSTITUTION:While a broadcast station is executing the normal broadcasting, the deciding means 104 does not output a signal stopping the transmission of a sound signal through a signal line 109. However, the listener receives a radio wave by the transmission means 114 and listens broadcasting from the broadcast station. If the broadcast station stops its broadcasting, or an electric field strength is weakened due to the trouble of said station, the deciding means 104 outputs the signal stopping the transmission of the sound signal, and the transmission by a transmitter 106 is stopped. Thus if the radio wave quality is bad, such a control as to stop the transmission can be made, whereby noise etc., do not enter the listener's ears and an appropriate broadcasting is executed.
