PURPOSE:To execute the initial setting by the pattern from the transmitting side again when the LSI for communication cannot be communicated by inputting and comparing the output of the holding circuit and the output of the pattern generating circuit to generate the specified pattern signal, and providing the comparing circuit to output the resetting signal at the time of coincidence. CONSTITUTION:The equipment is composed of a shift register 2 to make a serial data signal into an input 1, a counter timer circuit 7 to trigger through an AND circuit 6A to make the maximum or minimum digit bit signal of the output of the shift register 2 into the input and prohibit the retrigger for a constant time by the self-output, a baud rate generator 3 to drive the shift register 2 and the counter timer circuit 7, a holding circuit 9 to make the part excluding the maximum or minimum digit bit of the output of the shift register 2 and held by the holding signal of the output of the counter timer circuit and a comparing circuit 10 to input and compare the output of the holding circuit and the output of a pattern generating circuit 11 to generate the specified pattern signal, and output a resetting signal 12 at the time of the coincidence. Thus, when the data cannot be communicated, the communicating function at the receiving side can be recovered from the transmitting side.
