A process for producing an immunogenic complex which contains antigens or antigenic determinants having hydrophobic domains, in which virus, mycoplasma, bacteria, parasites, animal cells, antigens or antigenic determinants having hydrophobic domains are mixed with one or more solubilizing agents, with complexes being formed between the antigens or antigenic determinants and the solubilizing agent, after which the antigens or the antigenic determinants are separated from the solubilizing agent in the presence of, or separated from the solubilizing agent and transferred directly to a glycoside solution which contains one or more glycosides having hydrophobic and hydrophilic domains and a concentration of at least the critical micellar concentration, resulting in the formation of a protein complex, which is isolated and purified, which process is characterized in that the lipids are added before the complex is isolated and purified. |
