What is described is a cutting impeller which is used in a bale-cutting appliance with a fixed bottom and with a rotatably mounted container for receiving the round bale, having a conical ring, with continuously mounted bent cutter blades located on it and with a fixedly connected impeller arranged thereunder, in a countersunk housing, driven by a tractor power take-off shaft and mounted so as to be vertically adjustable in a slightly oblique arrangement, in order to ensure a small free angle and thus perform two functions of cutting and conveying.
