PURPOSE:To finish a principal object on a print picture to a proper density and a good color balance by making a part of a liquid crystal panel opaque and moving this opaque part with a moving key to put it under the principal object and using the coordinate position of the opaque part at this time as position information of the principal object. CONSTITUTION:Pick cells 49 formed with minute electrodes are arranged in a matrix on a liquid crystal panel 48. In case that the principal object is indicated, a voltage is impressed to at least one pick cell 49 to make it opaque, and this opaque pick cell 49a is moved to a desired position by a keyboard so that the opaque pick cell 49a coincides with a principal object 52 of a negative picture. Since this opaque pick cell 49a intercepts the white light from a while light source, the principal object is shadowed as shown by 53. Thus, the position of the principal object on the screen is indicated easily to prevent surely the occurrence of discrimination failure.
