A device (1) for connecting and sheathing coaxial cables (13) with a cable sleeve sheathing (5) which is arranged in the region of the device (1), consists of corrosion-resistant material, receives a cable sleeve (7), surrounds the said cable sleeve (7) with a snug fit and, for this purpose, is moulded onto the said sleeve, is further improved by the cable entries (9) of the cable sleeve sheathing (5) being extended in a tubular manner to overlap over the connections (3) of the cable sleeve (7), forming a receiving section (10, 10'), the overlapping receiving section (10, 10') being shrinkable (Figure 2). <IMAGE>
