PURPOSE:To obtain a recorded picture of high resolution by a method wherein a matrix having minute good and bad heat conductors arranged is made to contact with one side of a thermoplastic resin film when an image perforation element is to be formed in the film. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 4 has a dot-shaped heating element, and this element is heated in the shape of a picture pattern in accordance with picture signals. On the surface of a platen roller 3, a matrix formed of good heat conductors 3a and bad heat conductors 3b arranged alternately in a smaller unit tan the heating element 4a is formed. The heat of the heating element 4a is diffused into the good heat conductors 3a through a film 2 in a part of contact of the good heat conductors 3a with the film, while it is concentrated on the film 2 in a part of contact of the bad heat conductors 3b with the film. As the result, only the part of the film 2 being in contact with the bad heat conductors 3b is melted, and dot-shaped perforations 2a are formed in the size of the bad heat conductors 3b. The size of the dot-shaped heating element is preferably about 20-250mum. The heat conductivity K1 of the bad heat conductors 3b is preferably 0.05 or below, and it is the most effective that air is made to exist between. |
