PURPOSE:To reduce the nonuniformity in an output by making an interwiring capacity uniform substantially. CONSTITUTION:In a contact-type one-dimentional image sensor for facsimile, an array of photoelectric transfer elements comprising separate electrodes 2, photoconductive films 3 and common electrodes 4 being transparent electrodes is formed. On the other hand, circuits for driving these elements and reading therefrom are collected to be integrated for every several elements and are mounted on a substrate. IC 6 and wirings extending from the photoelectric transfer elements are connected by bonding wires respectively. In this construction, for instance, positions of bonding pads in IC, which have been arranged on three sides of an IC chip, are changed to be aligned on one side, the width lI of IC is made equal substantially to the length IH of the array of the photoelectric transfer elements, and each IC is disposed in parallel to an array of photodiodes. Thereby the length of wirings is made to be uniform substantially, and consequently the nonuniformity in an interwiring capacity is reduced. |
