PURPOSE:To prevent the sending of an inferior product to the next process station, by performing the function test of an object to be tested being a good product in a magazine unit to perform self-diagnosis. CONSTITUTION:A jig 16 drives motors 18, 19 on the basis of the order A of a drive part 17 and rotates rollers 20, 21 to connect the magazine conveyed by a moving belt 7 and connects a first printed circuit board unit having quality evaluation reference to a testing circuit at first. Next, a central processing unit 1 reads a test measure from a file 3 to allow the circuit 5 to perform a test on the basis of said test measured. When the test result is good, the unit 1 controls the jig 6 to separate the first printed circuit board unit of the magazine and successively judges the quality of a plurality of untested printed circuit board units received in the magazine of the jig 6. If there is abnormality, the operation of the circuit 5 and the jig 6 is stopped and a driving stop order is issued to the drive part 17 to stop the belt 7 not only to prepare for the repairing of a tester but also to prevent the feeding of the untested printed circuit board unit to the next process station and the sending of an inferior product to the next process station can be prevented.
