The scraper beam of a flight scraper, which transports the sludge settled in the waste-water tank into the sludge hopper, has a support profile section 9 designed as a hollow profile section having a circular cross-section. Two attachment ribs 10 project out from these support profile sections 9 towards the chain, which attachment ribs are furnished at their ends with attachment flanges 11. The two attachment ribs 10 are mounted on the support profile section 9 approximately in a V-shape. A scraper fin 12 sticks out from the other side of the support profile section 9, to which scraper fin an elastic scraper blade can be attached. This design enables, on the one hand, the moment of resistance of the scraper beam to be made sufficiently large with low consumption of material, and on the other hand, for a scoop action of the scraper beam to be prevented. <IMAGE>
