PURPOSE:To execute the effective use of a G3 facsimile as a receiving side terminal and to attain the high speed of the transmission speed by converting a transmission control procedure signal from respective receiving sides to the tonal signal of the frequency different from it from other receiving side, sending it to the transmission side and providing the identifying function of the signal at the transmission side. CONSTITUTION:A broadcast transmission adapter 5 has the identifying function of a tonal signal and is provided corresponding to a transmission side FAX 1. Broadcast transmission adapters 6-8 are provided respectively corresponding to respective receiving sides FAX 2-4, and respective transmission control procedure signals C are converted to tonal signals D, E and F having the mutually identifiable different frequency and sent to the FAX 1. Consequently, the transmission speed between the transmission side and the receiving side is not necessary to be fixed, and as the receiving side terminal, a GS facsimile can be effectively used.
