PURPOSE:To measure the period of composite pulses, which consist of the first and second pulses which are repeated alternately in the same cycle and are different in frequency, with a simple constitution by converting composite pulses to a single pulse signal by a monostable multivibrator, a D type FF, etc. and measuring its period. CONSTITUTION:Composite pulses (a) consisting of the first and second continuous pulses which are repeated alternately in the same cycles W1 and W2 and have periods T1 and T2 respectively (T1<T2) and have frequencies f1 and f2 different from each other is supplied to a waveform converter 2 consisting of a monostable multivibrator 3, a resistance R1, and a capacitor C1, and is converted to a waveform signal (b) where the part in the cycle W1 is in the high level. The signal (b) and the signal (a) are applied to a data terminal D and a clock terminal CL of a D type FF 4 respectively, and the Q output of the FF 4 is processed by a T type FF 5 to convert the signal (a) to a single pulse signal (d) having 50% duty ratio. This signal (d) is supplied to a counter 6 to measure the period of the composite pulse (a) with the simple constitution. |
