PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of water from a cap body and to permit the integral compression of powder to the end part thereof by providing an expanded diameter part so as to form a step part to the tight contact part between the inside and outside circumferential walls of a cylindrical part for compressing the powder and the cap body. CONSTITUTION:The inside circumferential wall 11 and cap body 14 of a rubber mold 10 for compressing the powder are fitted in tight contact with each other to form the step 15 via the expanded diameter part 16. The upper part of the outside circumferential part and the body 14 are fitted in tight contact with each other to form the step 23 via the large diameter part 24. A compressed body is formed with such constitution by packing the powder of raw material into the space part of the rubber mold 10, then mounting the cap body 14 thereto, winding vinyl tapes on the respective tight contact surfaces to seal the surfaces and exerting hydrostatic press thereto. The intrusion of the water from the tight contact surfaces with the cap body 14 is thus obviated and the powder is compressively molded integrally to the end part. |
